Paul Bara was one of the very first Kermit Lynch Champagnes to appear on our shores, back in 1975!Paul was a champion of Champagne, a published historian of Bouzy, and a founding member of the Trésors de Champagne (the producer-group responsible for Special Club bottlings). Today, his daughter Chantale is the 9th generation responsible for crafting their hand-made artisanal wines from the family’s 11 hectares of vines.Their cellar is a wonder to behold, hand-dug into the chalk, 33 feet down. It’s the perfect environment for aging bubbles with constant cool temperatures, adequate humidity and stability. The wines are classics, showcasing the luxurious, structured and powerful fruit from the Grand Cru of Bouzy in the Montagne de Reims.
