A.R. Lenoble Champagne Rose Terroirs NV

A single-village rose Champagne built almost entirely from Chouilly Grand Cru Chardonnay (88%), with just enough Bisseuil Premier Cru Pinot Noir (12%) to color it. About 20% of the wine sees oak, and reserves make up nearly a third of the blend, giving texture and depth you don't usually find at this price point. Five years on lees before release. The result lives somewhere between blanc de blancs precision and rose generosity, with the chalk of Chouilly running underneath everything. The Malassagne family farms with HVE certification and a long-standing commitment to biodiversity.

Returns & Exchanges

We stand behind every bottle we sell.

  • If the wine is less than 10 years old and it is corked, you may return it to us for a full refund or exchange within 60 days of purchase. You must show us proof of purchase. We understand that you may not live near a shop and that it is difficult to ship open bottles of wine to us, so if there's any problem feel free to Contact Us and we'll work it out.
  • For wines older than 10 years, the consumer bears the risk of a faulty cork, but we accept returns of older bottles if the wine is faulty as a result of improper storage. Please come by the store or Contact Us if there is a problem.
  • We may, at our discretion and to the extent permitted by law, accept returns of unopened wines within 30 days of purchase if they were properly stored by the purchaser, subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.

"The bouquet is quite mature, fine and elegant, with pure aromas of strawberry, raspberry and spices. Vibrant and subtle on the palate, this is a dry, fresh and vertical rosé. Composed of 93% Chardonnay from Chouilly grand cru and 7% red wine from Pinot Noir from Bisseuil premier cru. Predominantly based on the 2014 vintage, and including 40% of reserve wines."

Champagne A.R. Lenoble is a small, family owned and operated estate in the village of Choilly. This is the heart of the Cote de Blancs, which is where the best Chardonnay in Champagne is grown. And Lenoble are definitely Chardonnay specialists.

They do everything in a very "old school" way. Wild yeast fermentation, wooden press, hand riddling and disgorging etc. But true to more modern tastes they use a very low dosage. The result is a bright, mineral and dry Champagne style that accentuates texture and salinity.
