We are thrilled to invite you to join us for an intimate evening with Piero Incisa della Rocchetta of Bodegas Chacra on Wednesday, September 10th, from 5 PM to 7 PM in our Cellar Room.
Grandson of Mario Incisa della Rocchetta, creator of Sassicaia, Piero has carved his own extraordinary path far from Tuscany—in the wild, wind-swept landscape of Patagonia. At Bodegas Chacra, he works with old-vine Pinot Noir and Chardonnay rooted in sandy, mineral-rich soils at the edge of the desert, crafting wines of purity, precision, and haunting elegance.
Since its founding in 2004, Chacra has been celebrated as one of the Southern Hemisphere’s most important wineries. Piero’s dedication to biodynamic farming, careful preservation of ancient vines, and a Burgundian approach to winemaking has put Río Negro on the world map for fine Pinot Noir. The wines are ethereal yet powerful—expressions of place that rival the greatest wines of Burgundy while remaining uniquely Patagonian.
During this special seminar, Piero will personally guide guests through a tasting of his current releases, sharing insight into his family legacy, the pioneering spirit of Chacra, and the untamed beauty of Patagonia. It’s a rare chance to explore one of the most exciting terroirs in the world through the eyes of a visionary winemaker.
Seats are limited to just 14 guests. Tickets are $50 and include the full guided tasting as well as a $20 store credit for use towards the purchase of the evening's featured wines.
We hope you’ll join us for what promises to be an unforgettable evening with Piero Incisa della Rocchetta and the wines of Bodegas Chacra.
