The oldest whisky in Diageo's 2024 Special Releases lineup, and a rare chance to try a distillery most people have never heard of. Benrinnes is a Speyside workhorse—its spirit usually disappears into blends—but this 21-year-old single malt shows what it can do on its own. The maturation is layered: 15 years in refill casks, then six more in rejuvenated American and European oak wine casks. Bottled at natural cask strength (55.4% ABV), unfiltered. Rich, fruity, and full-bodied—a Speyside malt with more muscle than most.
