An annual limited release from Michter's that honors the legacy of Bomberger's Distillery, the 19th-century operation that later became Michter's. The 2025 edition's distinction is its barrel wood: Chinquapin oak (Quercus muehlenbergii), a native American oak species rarely used in bourbon. The staves were air-dried and seasoned for varying periods—18 months to five years—before toasting and charring, creating diverse wood interaction across the blend. Bottled at 108 proof. A bourbon for people who care about what the barrel contributes.
