Mirabelle Brut Rose NV

Schramsberg spent years mastering the art of the multi-vintage sparkler, then released the results under a different name. That's Mirabelle, launched in 1992 and still made in the same cellars by the same team behind the flagship wines. The blend draws Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from cool corners of the North Coast - Carneros, the Sonoma Coast, Anderson Valley, Marin - with base wines aged in both barrel and tank before the assemblage, then roughly two years on the lees in bottle after the second fermentation. That's traditional method done the long way, and it shows in the toasty depth behind the fruit. A serious bottle of California bubbles that doesn't ask for a special occasion.

Returns & Exchanges

We stand behind every bottle we sell.

  • If the wine is less than 10 years old and it is corked, you may return it to us for a full refund or exchange within 60 days of purchase. You must show us proof of purchase. We understand that you may not live near a shop and that it is difficult to ship open bottles of wine to us, so if there's any problem feel free to Contact Us and we'll work it out.
  • For wines older than 10 years, the consumer bears the risk of a faulty cork, but we accept returns of older bottles if the wine is faulty as a result of improper storage. Please come by the store or Contact Us if there is a problem.
  • We may, at our discretion and to the extent permitted by law, accept returns of unopened wines within 30 days of purchase if they were properly stored by the purchaser, subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.

This shows a light pink color, beautiful delicate notes of strawberries and currants, crisp acids, a fresh, lively zesty style and medium body. Both of these are meant to be drunk upon release and are probably at their best within the first year or two of aging. "
