Naveran Brut Nature 2022

Zero dosage means zero apology: no sugar added at the end, nothing to soften the edges or hide behind. Naveran's Brut Nature is the driest wine in their lineup and the most revealing, which is only possible because the family grows every grape themselves — 110 hectares farmed organically in Torrelavit, up in the high Penedès about half an hour from Barcelona. The blend runs Macabeo and Parellada for citrus and lift, with Chardonnay for flesh and Xarel·lo for backbone, and it's vintage-dated and rested a minimum of two years on the lees. What lands in the glass is taut, chalky and bone-dry. Estate Cava made with actual conviction.

Returns & Exchanges

We stand behind every bottle we sell.

  • If the wine is less than 10 years old and it is corked, you may return it to us for a full refund or exchange within 60 days of purchase. You must show us proof of purchase. We understand that you may not live near a shop and that it is difficult to ship open bottles of wine to us, so if there's any problem feel free to Contact Us and we'll work it out.
  • For wines older than 10 years, the consumer bears the risk of a faulty cork, but we accept returns of older bottles if the wine is faulty as a result of improper storage. Please come by the store or Contact Us if there is a problem.
  • We may, at our discretion and to the extent permitted by law, accept returns of unopened wines within 30 days of purchase if they were properly stored by the purchaser, subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.

More about Naveran

Naveran is a small, estate-grown operation. Their vines, nestled in the Alt Penedès, benefit from a mix of Mediterranean warmth and high-elevation freshness, creating wines that are both vibrant and structured. They rely mostly on local traditional grapes – Macabeo, Xarel-lo, Parellada – but also go a little bit in the direction of Champagne by incorporating some Chardonnay. This touch comes naturally from Naveran, as the family originally migrated from Champagne centuries ago.
