Oka Gin is a rice-based Japanese gin from Tsutsumi Distillery in Kumamoto, known for crafting shochu since 1909. Distilled six times in copper-lined stills, it uses juniper, citrus, and young ginger added only during the final distillation. The rice spirit base brings softness and texture, setting it apart from typical grain-based gins.

Botanicals include Macedonian and Himalayan juniper, seasonal Japanese citrus like yuzu and sudachi, and earthy fresh ginger. The result is bold yet balanced, ideal in classic cocktails or neat. Awarded Double Gold and Best Japanese Gin at the 2024 SF World Spirits Competition.
