Benoît Ente, celebrated for precise, terroir-driven Chardonnay, farms Houillères in Chassagne-Montrachet on clay-limestone soils. The 2021 vintage was hand-harvested, fermented with native yeasts, and aged in French oak, mostly used, to highlight site character while preserving freshness.

Bottled in magnum for extended cellaring, it offers depth, balance, and mineral clarity. A refined white Burgundy suited to fine seafood, roast poultry, or creamy dishes.

Benoit has been at the helm of his domaine for over 2 decades now. His vineyards come from several different family members and represent some of Puligny's finest terroirs. For much of his tenure he was best known as Arnaud's younger brother, but he is now a star in his own right.
