Anyone who has spent time in France knows that it has become the top choice there for anyone looking for a sophisticated and classy Grand Marque. Word is catching on here, thanks to the obvious quality and refinement.

Professional Reviews

Antonio Galloni

"The 2007 Dom Ruinart Rosé is fabulous. The Rosé has all of the energy of the Blanc, with the extra richness that comes from the Pinot in the blend. Rose petal, mint, blood orange and cinnamon are some of the many aromas and flavors that are laced throughout. There is a feeling of translucence in the Rosé that is impossible to miss. I would cellar it for a few years. This is another magnificent wine from Chef de Caves Frédéric Panaïotis in his first vintage at Ruinart." -Antonio Galloni

Robert Parker

RP 96
"Tasted from magnum and disgorged in December 2021 with a dosage of five grams per liter, the 2007 Dom Ruinart Rosé—the first vintage under Frédéric Panaïotis's guidance—is showing brilliantly. It offers a complex bouquet of mandarin, blood orange, red plum and wild raspberry, enriched by notes of roasted cocoa and a subtle smoky reduction. On the palate, it is full-bodied, vinous and elegantly muscular, with a flamboyant and layered core of fruit, bright acidity and a long, delicately perfumed finish. Slightly more tightly wound than the 2009 Dom Ruinart Rosé, the magnum format only enhances its energy and texture. The blend is 80% Chardonnay—predominantly from the Côte des Blancs—complemented by 20% Pinot Noir vinified as red wine from the house’s vineyard in Aÿ." -Kristaps Karklins

Decanter

D 96
"Made of 80% Chardonnay (75% from Côte des Blancs grands crus and 25% from Montagne de Reims) and 20% Pinot Noir vinified as a red wine. Dom Ruinart 2007 offers a very pure, almost crystalline bouquet with raspberry, spices, strawberry, mint, and rose petal aromas. The palate possesses well-grained tannins, a perfectly balanced texture, and some energetic and sumptuous strawberry, mint and lemon aromas."

Wine Spectator

WS 95
"Rich notes of grilled nut and toasted brioche play off the vibrant acidity that frames this seamlessly knit rosé Champagne, enlivening flavors of ripe white peach, acacia blossom and blood orange sorbet. Creamy and elegant, but shows restrained power, with real drive pushing through to the lasting finish, where smoke and spice accents echo."

Wine Enthusiast

"While the aroma suggests this is an old wine, the palate discloses a very good balance between fruit and toasty maturity. It is a great Champagne, less of a rosé now and more of a rich, intense wine."
