"The 2023 Pernand-Vergelesses Les Vignes Blanches (Aligoté) was planted at the same time as the Chardonnay in the middle of the vineyard, a massal selection from Sylvain Pataille. This has an outstanding bouquet of yellow plum, melted candle wax, nectarine and a touch of licorice. The palate is beautifully balanced and lightly spiced with a silky texture, as hints of chamomile and white tea mix with light brioche notes. This is even better than the Chardonnay." -Neal Martin
